The climate encapsulates all the weather conditions, which we can’t run from. Changing weather conditions has been one of, if not the most prevalent way in which we have observed the impacts of anthropogenic practices on surrounding ecosystems. Convention on Climate Change Ecometrica: Greenhouse Gas Explainer EPA: A brief explanation of the definitions and differences between ‘greenhouse gases’, ‘CO2’, ‘CO2e’ and ‘Carbon’. (Note: Published in 2012, this source still provides beneficial introductory terms)

Climatepedia Climate 101: this non-profit organization has a mission to educate young professionals and professionals alike with the constantly changing climate news. Climatepedia also offers a climate professionals program which is a great learning and growing opportunity for those in the climate space. 

CO2 Climate Action Tracker: This tool tracks global government climate actions, comparing results to the Paris Agreements’ goals of keeping global warming “well below 2°C”. 

United Nations Emissions Gap Report 2020: This report assesses emissions in various countries which have pledged to reduce their emissions. Recovery measures are also outlined with special consideration of environmental, social, and economic goals. 

Inside Climate News: A nonprofit news source that publishes work including climate, energy, environmental justice, and more.  

The Climate Reality Project: A non-profit organization that provides skills, resources, and campaigns to promote climate activism, using a ground-up approach. Connecting behavioral science and climate change, the organization demands immediate climate action. (Jobs and internships available)


NASA - Global Climate Change: Interactive NASA website with news sources, CO2 calculations, ice sheet levels, and more to help visualize long-term environmental changes.
